Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
On Monday, December 9, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, where we recognize Mary’s privilege of being conceived without sin. It is a Holy Day of Obligation, so plan to come and honor Mary, our Mother and Intercessor. There will be two Masses on December 9:

CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAWN MASSES
Masses in EnglishThe Advent season is a time of preparation that directs our hearts and minds to Christ’s second coming at the end of time. In the final days of Advent, Simbáng Gabi directs our focus on our preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of our Lord. From December
15-23, come and bring family and friends to nine days of dawn Masses as we accompany the Blessed Virgin Mary in her anticipation of the birth of her son, our Lord Jesus Christ. On the ninth day, Monday, December 23, the Mass will be followed by a breakfast reception in the Morris Center where traditional Filipino Christmas
holiday delicacies will be served.

Volunteer Positions Available
Whether you are a new parishioner or a seasoned veteran here at St Clare Catholic Church, you are encouraged to “Love and Serve God” in ministry work. Many opportunities exist for you to apply your gifts and to help those in our community.
Prayerfully consider your situation and ask for God's help to guide you. Please give special consideration to the John 11 Ministry, a ministry devoted to caring for the families who have the difficult task of burying someone they love. You may contact St Clare Parish staff at (916) 772-4717 to ask about other very important ministries and their contact information.

Rosary Opportunity
There are several groups at St. Clare that pray the rosary. One group prays the rosary before Mass, another after the daily Masses, and other groups throughout the parish pray the rosary at different times.Our prayer is that you connect with one of those groups. However, if you are looking for a group to suit your needs, please consider joining the Monday evening Rosary Prayer Group via zoom at 7:00pm. We pray the rosary primarily for our nation and our church… but we also pray for many intentions. After the rosary, we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and end with the Litany to St. Joseph.
